Our Story

Poncho Nation started with a summer on Cape Cod.

We're a brother and sister who live thousands of miles apart. For the past few years, we've made a point of meeting on the Cape, especially in summer.

Just like the ocean where we spent our childhood summers, the water in the Northeast is chilly. It reminded us how cold we'd get as kids – and how our own kids feel the same way now. So we made what we would have wanted back then: soft, comfortable towel ponchos that keep everyone warm, dry, and easy to spot from a mile away. (We let our kids roam, but it's nice to find them from across the beach.)

Jeronimo is a Boston-based entrepreneur, angel investor, and mentor whose experience spans healthcare, technology, and media. As an Executive Fellow at Harvard Business School and Founder-in-Residence at the Harvard Innovation Labs, he mentors early-stage founders and teaches entrepreneurship.

Marina is a Buenos Aires–based architect and designer with a multidisciplinary practice spanning architecture, furniture, product design, and art. Her exploration of furniture design at Central Saint Martins in London led to an award-winning reinterpretation of the iconic BKF chair, later exhibited at MALBA, Argentina's leading museum of Latin American art.
